We had the most fantastic stay at Bobbie’s place. It was clean, close to shops and restaurants, and communication with Bobbie was great. Bobbie even left us a bottle of wine. Truly, Bobbie is the best host. If we’re ever in the area again, we will stay here again!

I had a wonderful stay here. It was perfect for one person (and would be great for two people) — very clean, comfortable and bright. Walkable to so many great restaurants and shops, as well as the beach. Private. Bobbie and team do an amazing job at checking in, providing help, etc. Would stay here again!

We truly enjoyed our stay at The Casita. The place looks exactly like in the advertised photos and has a very modern yet cozy feeling. It has everything you need for a short or long weekend. I recommend it plenty.

We really enjoyed our stay! We loved the gas fireplace and the beautiful courtyard. Having two living spaces was an unexpected bonus! The decor was beautiful. I would love to stay at this Montecito home again!

I’m reluctant to see how much we loved this space because I wanted it available when I come back again. it’s beautifully serene yet in the middle of everything. We woke up every morning to beautiful ocean view and loved the back private space with fire pit to relax in the afternoon with a glass of wine . we were able to park right in front and everything about the space was convenient. We walked everywhere in Summerland and I was in heaven with all the home decor, stores, and antique shops. We took a Uber into Montecito several times for a beautiful dinners We can’t wait to stay again.

Such a beautiful spot 🫶🏻 I had a really great time here! The space is small/ studio like so the pictures are pretty accurate. It had everything we needed, so no complaints at all! I enjoyed the backyard & the firepit — it was so nice & peaceful to just sit and relax. The location is so beautiful and it’s in a cute small town. It’s very private and quiet. I know some people had issues w sound and it does get loud (train, traffic, etc) but I come from the city so it really didn’t bother me. They provide a white noise machine to help out which I think is thoughtful! Otherwise — very cute, clean and perfect! Probably like 10mins from SB so it was a convenient stay. I believe they rent out the unit right next to us as well (#5) but it wasn’t a problem! I would def recommend and stay again 🙂

We really enjoyed the area and the ease to park and proximity to good coffee and food. The little shops within 2 blocks were wonderful to explore. The Summerland Beach was perfect and the people so friendly. This is a dog friendly town!

Hello, the stay was great! It's a perfect location if you are looking for a private get away but want to be able to drive into town. Everything was great!

The place was sparkling clean, adorable and very well decorated. The private, fenced front courtyard with its soothing, trickling water fountain was perfect for my two small fur babies. Parking just outside the door might be tight for an oversized vehicle but there appeared to always be street parking very close. Location was perfect for me... close to the 101 freeway and less than a 10 minute drive to shops, cafes, restaurants. It was pouring rain during my stay so I didn't get to enjoy the nearby beach but I will be back!

Overall a good stay and we would consider staying here again. The reason we liked it so much was because of the beautiful private patio was lovely to sit it and perfect for our 2 small dogs. It’s also very cute, it is small but nice. Location is south montecito and easy to get on the freeway, you can hear the freeway on the patio since it’s close but inside with door shut I didn’t notice it at all. Wasn’t an issue for me. There were some communication issues, which is the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. Some of them stem from the fact that the automated messages are sent that aren’t tailored to your situation which caused some confusion (ex: asking us to pay a pet fee we had already paid, asking if we needed anything at check in when we had already asked for something). Also there was a double booking that didn’t end up happening but caused some confusion and stress the day before the trip.

It was a lovely place to stay for the weekend! Everything was close by. Town was cute and peaceful. Only a short drive away from SB downtown as well.

Lovely little home that is cute and cosy. It’s tucked away and is very well kept with a nice little courtyard. The bed is comfortable and everything is pristine. The only downside is that the freeway is noisy. If you’re sensitive to noise bring earplugs because you will hear it. It’s a great spot for exploring Santa Barbara.

We had a great stay at Bobbie’s place. The location is ideal, peaceful and secluded but easily walkable to nearby coffee, restaurants, shopping, as well as Butterfly and Miramar beaches. Santa Barbara is just a quick drive away as well. The place was just right for our trip, well appointed and comfortable, and a great base for our visit to Santa Barbara.

What a special place. Great vibes. Will stay here again when we return to Summerland. ❤️

Staying at this beautiful, cozy cottage-style retreat was an unforgettable experience. The space was warm and inviting, with a charming gas fire pit where we gathered for conversations late into the night. The location was convenient, with great grocery stores nearby—Pavilions and Grocery Outlet had everything we needed. One of the highlights of our stay was getting up a few skewers for marshmallow roasting from a store, enjoying the sweet treats while gazing at the star-filled night sky. The bicycles provided at the cottage operate with a coaster brake system (backpedal to stop), they could be perfect for riding along the long, scenic beachfront. The host was fantastic—responsive, clear, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. After spending a month in La Jolla, San Diego, I thought I had found my perfect place to settle down after retirement. And yet, Montecito changed my ranking of dream locations. This cottage is a hidden gem in a gem of a town—a place I will long to return to.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place was so cute and cozy that I had to give it accolades. It’s very private, close to Montecito/Santa Barbara, cute decor and I had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again.

I had a nice stay at Bobbie's place! I liked how spacious, light filled and private it was. It had everything I needed and the host responded to my concerns and requests. I went hiking and how convenient it was to have a washer, dryer and detergents right there to wash it all! I didn't cook much but it looked like the kitchen has all the basics (except salts&peppers, as noted in description). I loved the bedroom - lots of light, space, comfy & big bed and good height ceiling. The patio was very cozy too with the chairs and the firepit!

The Palm Cottage was a perfect stay and our hosts, Brooks and Joe, were extremely gracious and professional. The location was perfect, outdoor living spaces beautiful, and the interior was spotless and just as pictured. We very much appreciated the thoughtful amenities- nothing was overlooked!
